meilleures cartes vidéo au monde:
Here are the top 10 graphics cards in the world:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 295
This is an incredibly fast card - the
fastest in the world, ever, in fact.
But you're going to need a really big
screen in order to appreciate its twin-GPU prowess.
Owners of lower resolution screens can spend a lot less
money and enjoy just as fast frame rates.
What the GTX 295 does have in its
favour is that it's a single card solution that works
straight out of the box. Oh, and the fact that it's the
fastest card around.
It's not a must buy, but if you
missed the last generation of upgrades, this is the card
that should fulfil your dreams.

2. ATI Radeon 4870 X2
Two graphics chips. One card.
And a whole lotta rendering fun:
that's the basic philosophy behind the ATI Radeon HD
4870 X2, AMD's latest dual-GPU 3D card.
Actually, that's the philosophy AMD
has adopted for high-end graphics in general.
No longer intending to duke it out
with Nvidia at the very top of the market, instead of
producing one monstrous GPU, AMD's plan is to slap
Nvidia silly with two slightly more compact GPUs crammed
onto a single card.

3.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 285
Nvidia doesn't do things by halves.
At the same time as releasing the
twin-engined GTX 295, it has tipped its lofty cap to
conventional wisdom and released a single-GPU update to
the GTX 280 as well.
So what's so new about the GTX 285?
Not much really - but it's smaller, courtesy of a die-shrink
- a die-shrink from 65nm down to 55nm.
And as we all know, die-shrinks are
good for components because it means you can crank up
the clocks, reduce thermals and bring about world peace.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 280
As we said above, the 280 has pretty
much the same guts as the 285.
But the 280 has a trump card up its
sleeve.
And that's it's price. Watch out for
some imminent price reductions on this card now it's
been improved upon, because you could soon be picking up
a bargain, with online retailers looking to get rid of
stock.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.
ATI Radeon 4870
AMD's graphics subsidiary made a
great choice when it gave up chasing the outright 3D
performance crown.
The 4870 is a very powerful graphics
card - but it runs nice and cool and it's startlingly
cheap.
And on that score - the 4870 comes
into its own - and it's yours for under £200.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 260
When it came out last summer, the
GTX260 offered incredibly close performance to the
GTX280 for almost half the price, which made it the real
winner of the two.
The price has come down slightly
since then, which makes it a fantastic second-tier card
at a good price.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. ATI Radeon
4850 X2
The
4850 X2 is a great card, but sadly it's pretty much
irrelevant.
For the same price as the GTX 280
you're getting weaker performance across the board.
As well as the now-traditional driver
worries that always accompany a multi-GPU card.
In this case it's most definitely
worth sticking with the single-chip solution for both
peace of mind and processing power.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8.
ATI Radeon 4850
The Radeon HD 4800 GPU, previously
codenamed RV770, is absolutely brilliant. In fact, it
might just be the most efficient, effective and elegant
graphics chip that the world has ever seen.
It certainly delivers a bigger bang
for your buck than any graphics chip before. And yet it
is not quite the fastest.
The best thing about this card is
that the arrival of the 4800 has inevitably pushed
prices of existing graphics chipsets from Nvidia down.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9.
Nvidia GeForce 9800GTX
Now available for less than £150, the
9800 GTX is a pretty good option for anyone wanting an
above average card without breaking the bank.
The problem is though that ATI's
super-cheap 4800 series has all but rendered these older
models from Nvidia pretty redundant.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10.
Nvidia GeForce 9800GT
For those shopping on a strict
budget, look no further than the 9800GT.
Available in some cases for less than
£100, it's a lower end card that will still handle any
PC games out there - although not on max settings.
